Varying degrees of wear which may include but not be limited to: Spines with heavy wear, chipping, discoloration, spine labels missing, with only one Anchoret label still remaining. Exterior hinges split. Loss to spine tips/joints. Corners rubbed, bowed, boards exposed. Bookplate to interior pastedowns. Pencil notation to the same on Volume I. Internal toning, staining, foxing, mostly to beginning and ending pages. Cracked interior hinge, wear to gutters, paper loss to front endpaper along hinge of Volume II-III. Foxing, staining here and there within. Some pages with soft creasing. Very small fragment of original ribbon remaining which has stained pg. 141-2 to Vol. I.
