From the Back Cover
David R. Holeton. Chair, International Anglican Liturgical Consultation: Prayer is an activity of the whole church; past, present and yet to come. Bright's Ancient Collects helps today's Christians join their prayers with generations from the past who have faithfully walked the Way and who now pray with us, but on another shore. It's extremely useful to have this reprint available.
