A scarce reprint of Pasquil's Night-cap, in the publisher's original binding. A scarce early 19th century reprint of this poetical works. First attributed to Nicholas Breton, but now considered to be the work of William Fennor. William Fennor was an bilingual English/Dutch poet and rogue of the Elizabethan and Jacobean periods. Nicholas Breton was an English poet and novelist, whose best work include his pastoral poetry. In the publisher's original paper covered boards. Externally, worn. There is significant wear to the extremities, including bumping and loss to the paper, particularly along the spine. There is some discolouration to the boards. There is a water stain on the front free endpaper and a nameplate on the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright with spotting throughout and the occasional handling mark. Good Only. Seller Inventory # GEN1-E-3
