Carefully Revised, Corrected and continued to the Year 1789, By Mr. Combe, Complete in Six Volumes, Printed by P. Byrne, Dublin, 1790, twelve maps, 1 folding table, full original leather, 8vo. In as-is condition. Poor. Binding copies. Leather heavily worn with red rot and flaking. Ex-library of the Bigelow Library Association. Textblocks remain in fair condition with typical toning and light instances of offsetting and foxing. Free of known marginalia. Bindings intact. Some boards are detached. Folding maps in good working order with minor tears, if any. Please see photos. Anderson (1693-1765) was a Scottish economist, and for forty years was a clerk in South Sea house, the headquarters of the South Sea Company. Late in his life Anderson traveled to the American colonies, begetting a son, Adam E. Anderson, later noted for being an early settler and planner of the Ohio territory. …
