Excellent. 2 Volumes. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Two portraits, seven facsimilies, 38 maps, some folding, some double page, all drawn by the etcher, W.H.W. Bicknell. Limited Edition 487 copies beautifully bound in full vellum with gold coat of arms on boards and gold lettering on the spines, t.e.g. Frontispiece from an original engraving by Andre - signed by the engraver William F. Hopson and slo by E. D. French the designer of the title pages. A comprehensive and highly interesting account of the movements and engagements of the British Army during the months of June 1777 to November 1778. A very scarce set in wonderful condition.
