Folio. Printed wraps. Folio. 6 photograph plates followed by 2 leaves of text, both of which begin and end mid-sentence. Part five only of this work issued in twelve parts, featuring photographs of various sites and scenery of Androscoggin County, Maine, from the late 1800s. OCLC records indicate a total of 72 photographs were present in the 12 parts, so it is presumed each part had 6, and as such, this is complete as far as illustrations go. Included are images of the view below Mayburie's Ferry, Lisbon Fall, a mill in Lisbon, etc. Text consists of a history of the region, although is incomplete. GOOD condition. Extremities and spine of the wrappers chipped, with some loss and associated tears. Offsetting and browning to the covers. Some dampstaining present along the edges. Some soiling.
