August 1747 in Vornbach; ? 22. Dezember 1835 in München), war ab 1784 Professor an der ersten bayerischen Universität in Ingolstadt. Er lehrte dort Kameralwissenschaft mit den Schwerpunkten Landwirtschaft, Bergbau, Forstwirtschaft und Naturgeschichte. Schrank war zwischen 1809 und 1832 der erste Direktor des Botanischen Gartens in München.- Vorsatz mit mehrz. Geschenkvermerk, tls. leicht fleckig, Ebd. etw. berieben.- Aus dem Besitz von Ignaz von Kürsinger (* 7. Dezember 1795 in Ried im Innkreis; ? 18. August 1861 in Salzburg), mit seinem eigenh. Besitzeintrag am Titel "von Kürsinger Conzepts-Practicant (1)820" aus seiner Zeit als Konzeptionspraktikant im Mühlkreis.# First edition, rare.- Owned by Ignaz von Kürsinger (1795-1861), the first person to climb the Großvenediger and a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly (with his signature on the title).-.
