Angel Among Us

Daddy says that my grandma is an angel up above. She watches us from heaven, sending down all her love.

Leo knows his grandma is an angel, but what does that actually mean? Heaven seems so far away, and Leo would rather have his grandma close. With help from his dad, Leo discovers that his grandmother's spirit is all around him, from the warmth of the sun to the gentle whisper of the breeze, from snowflakes that tickle his head to every leaf, flower, and cloud he sees.

Inspired by the author's own experience with losing his mother and raising his children, Angel Among Us weaves the natural world into a comforting embrace, showing children that love and memories can be felt in the simplest, most breathtaking elements of nature. Join Leo on a heartfelt journey of remembrance as he learns that our loved ones are never truly gone-they watch over us, guide us, and love us during all of our challenges and adventures.
