The Los Angeles Agent Book: Get the Agent You Need for the Career You Want

A veteran working actor (she played Superman's Mom on "Lois & Clark" as well as a repentant migrant on HBO's "Carnivale"), Callan has written a helpful, often amusing and always pragmatic guide to agenting yourself until you can attract a partner. This reference book combines the hard facts of the business while offering the encouragement and optimism the author has happily experienced over the years. "The Los Angeles Agent Book" includes background information on many of the city's most respected and successful agents, their resumes and a sample of their client lists. Callan's personal meetings with literally scores of agents have produced fascinating quotes which provide insights into what agents expect of their clients and what the actor has a right to expect in return.
