Recased in the original 1/2 tan calf later red title label, dust soiling to the marbled paper covered boards, with some rubbing to corners. Salter who gives his address as Rochester Terrace, Stoke Newington. Salter notes on the title page "I write from practice not from books arrange". And the preface" I have employed some of my leisure time in writing this Work as a direction or guide to the young and inexperienced angler, the information it contains such has been acquired by practice and experience in the art during the last forty years".
