Animal Alphabet Coloring Book (Dover Alphabet Coloring Books)

With each page of this entertaining and educational book, children will embark on a new adventure that provides them not only with a creative way to play with animals, but also an effective way to learn each animal's name and identifying features. Chances are, they'll meet some of the animals illustrated in these pages for the very first time.
The book first requires the reader to identify the letter the alphabet features, then to recognize and name the animals pictured whose names begin with that letter. Children can then color the animals as faithfully or as fancifully as they choose.
Where else could you find a lion, a lamb, a lizard, a leopard, a lobster, and a llama in one delightfully improbable family portrait? Right here, along with 25 other unlikely combinations of creatures that are fun to identify and color! When the correct name — or spelling of that name — eludes them, children can refer to the identifying caption printed upside down at the bottom of each page.
