Animal Bridge : A Tickle Time Story

One day, three children were playing outside and decided to take a nap under a big oak tree. As they drifted off to sleep, little did they know that they were lying upon a path making a "bridge" that the animals would cross over one-by-one, starting with the smallest.

As parents read this book to their children, they may mimic the animals walking across the bridge on the children's bellies. Small ants tickle, frogs hop, porcupines poke, and the snake slithers -- don't move or get bitten!

Children love using their imaginations when choosing the next animal to cross the bridge. Animal Bridge also gives parents a unique way of teaching their children about the various animals and the sounds they make.

For a BIG tickle time ending, dinosaurs may eat the children up, or an elephant will squish them with hugs and kisses. Imagine a beached whale rolling and flopping all over the bed! Reading Animal Bridge will surely have your children begging to be tucked in at night with giggles and tickles.

WENDE DATEMA, a graduate of Western Michigan University, was born and raised in Michigan. The proud mother of three loved reading to her children at night when they were little. Sadly, she found there weren't many bedtime or tickle time stories. So, Wende created her own stories.

Animal Bridge, has children begging to be tucked into bed at night with giggles and tickles mimicking animals crossing over the children's bellies. Wende's second book, Sophie the Sleeping Fairy, keeps them in it, making both books the perfect bedtime combination.
