Animal Capers (Paperback) by Bertrand Gauthier,David Homel

Where else but in a Roger Parà book would you see a majestic lion, with cubs, on roller skates? And when you peek into the corners and crannies of the illustration, you see the birds and squirrels and mice on wheels, too. This is Parà 's fifth book for very young kids, and it's brimming with fun and whimsy. Each of the detailed illustrations has lots for pre-school children to explore and discover, as beaver carpenters build a tree-house, and a jungle cat stands on a ladder to plant a kiss on a giraffe's lips. Light and easy to follow, this will be fun for storytelling time, and for kids to pick up rhythm and rhyme themselves.
