About the Author
Laura Bellmont is an illustrator and NYC DOE certified educator who has been teaching in the NYC Metro area for over fifteen years. She is the founder and lead teacher of "The Little Animation Studio" (formerly The Good School).
Laura and her team design stop motion animation workshops that cultivate commercial and traditional art making skills, communication and collaboration, problem solving and the mindful use of technology. Each curriculum is shaped to accommodate the needs of partners by creating original lesson plans for every engagement.
Emily Brink is a professional graphic designer and art educator who has been working in New York City since 2010. She co-founded The Good School in 2013. She believes that by inviting today's youth into the rich world of art making through the process of animation, she can help create a new generation of problem solvers, culture makers, and intelligent consumers that could have the potential to bring creative change to all their spheres of influence. Emily received her BFA in Visual Communications from the University of Oklahoma and her MS in Art + Design Education from Pratt Institute.
