68 artists, one vision... Anime Angels!
An original character artbook

Dozens of anime artists from the U.S., Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Japan, and 17 other countries have joined together for this new original character artbook, Anime Angels. All of the artworks are based around the book's title, with each contributing artist bringing her or his own interpretation to the "angel" theme. With nearly 100 artworks from professional and emerging amateur artists, this collection makes a fantastic addition to any anime art lover's bookshelf. Featured contributors include Fred Gallagher of Megatokyo, Anita Kloss (red-priest-usada) from Poland, and Christelle Huynh (eternal-s) from France, with cover art by Canadian illustrator and manga artist Shilin Huang. This edition includes a special Artist Index and Commentary section that offers additional detail on dozens of the artworks, as well as the art portfolio website of every contributing artist.

The Anime Angels project began in early 2011, with many of the participating artists originally introduced to the project at Fanimecon 2011 in California, however it rapidly took on a life of its own, gathering anime artist signups from around the world as more people heard about the opportunity. After initial organization as AnimeAngelsBook at DeviantArt, a successful Kickstarter campaign in early 2012, and an official launch at Fanimecon 2012, Anime Angels is now available for everyone to enjoy!

About the editor: Bruce Hahne, publisher and official artist cat-herder for the Anime Angels project, was president of Cornell Japanese Animation Society back when VHS was king and dinosaurs still roamed the earth. This project is his effort to give many talented anime artists a chance to have their work published and shared in print.
