About this Item
A scarce eighth edition of this charmingly illustrated children's story from Scottish writer Grace Kennedy. Eighth edition. Scarce. Illustrated with a frontispiece and five plates. Poor orphaned Anna Ross returns to Edinburgh to live with her aunt and cousins who, while affectionate and kind, as being brought up far too fashionably. Written by Grace Kennedy, a Scottish writer. Publisher's advertisements to the rear. In the original green cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot and minor age toning to the endpapers. Very Good.
