2 volumes, 8vo, calf, [xiii], 599pp., [84]pp. When bound up, a previous owner had blank interleaved throughout both volumes and at the ends. These he used for notes, translations of the text, and references. They are filled out through book II, after merely blanks. Notes are largely in English with a smattering of Greek and Latin. Though the Lucan probably later in the possession of Moses Hadas (a letter to MH from a student tucked in), no grounds to believe these are his notes. A Good set: boards present but detached as as the first and last leaves; backstrips chipped with heavy loss, mere remnants now left; bindings solid; some foxing at the ends, some occasional notes and underlining but text generally clean.
