Wear includes interior dampstaining on front end papers, causing rippling throughout text block, however, pages remain clean; former library bookplate on front pastedown, with number written on spine; exposed lowers edges and corners on exterior, with other light scuffs, soils and fading; slightly cocked spine. Despite blemishes, still a very usable copy with tight binding. A detailed study on the progression of education in Boston during the majority of the Nineteenth Century. 305 pages.
