The title labels on the spines state "Elsley on the Gospels". PAGES, with marbled edges: 522 (Vol. 1); 508 (Vol. 2). Attractive binding with raised bands to the spines and giilt decoration. Bright, clean interiors and tight bindings. No inscriptions. Fold-out map, in place with some browning and no edgewear, of the travels of the Apostles in Volume 1. B/w plan of the Temple of Jerusalem bound in next to the map. Brown spotting on endpapers. Minor wear to the leather cover and a little fading along the gilt decorated spines. Size of each volume is about 22 x 14 cms. Total weight: about 1.7 kilos.

Terms of sale
Books ordered will be despatched in secure packaging on receipt of payment. If payment is made by cheque or postal order, these can be accepted in GBP sterling only. If it is required by the purchaser, and where it is possible to do so, insurance can be arranged at the purchaser's cost. It is our standard practice to obtain certificates of posting for all items that we send. It is our policy to accept the return of an item provided that it is sent back to us in the same condition, within seven days of receipt, the return postage being payable by the purchaser.
Shipping terms
We attempt to despatch books ordered within 2 working days. Our estimated shipping costs may vary in accordance with the packaged weight. It may be necessary to request additonal shipping.
