Anointed: Understanding the Oil, the Assignment & the Authority

ANOINTED: Understanding the Oil, the Assignment & the Authority offers clear, Scripture-based insight into one of the most symbolic and often misunderstood elements of Christian practice-the anointing oil. Drawing from biblical foundations, pastoral experience, and apostolic teaching, Dr. Joseph D. Lamb, Sr. explains what the oil represents, why God chose it, and how it functions as a point of contact when faith is applied correctly.

This book moves beyond ritual and superstition, restoring biblical order and spiritual understanding. Readers will discover the difference between oil and anointing, the responsibility that comes with spiritual assignment, and the authority God entrusts to those who walk in obedience and reverence. From the anointing of priests and kings to the widow's oil and the promise of Psalm 23, ANOINTED connects Scripture to practical application for today's believer.

Written for pastors, leaders, intercessors, and Christians seeking deeper clarity, this teaching equips readers to use anointing oil with wisdom, humility, and faith-recognizing that the true power is not in the oil itself, but in obedience to God and submission to His authority.
