Add to basketMorgan & Morgan, Inc. 1974. Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. Hardcover. Large format. Third printing. Signed and dated (10-14-76) by Adams on half-title page. Although the book itself is essentially like new the following indicators are noted: there are two annotations, rendered with a stamping device - one on the front endpaper and the other on the title page - which state 'Received Dec. 28, 1975,' and the previous owner's name also appears, just below the date (also stamped). Neatly taped to the front endpaper, and mostly hidden by the dust jacket flap, is a $2.50 general admission ticket for a lecture by Ansel Adams at the Mandeville Auditorium at the University of Southern California, San Diego for October 14, 1976, 8:00 p.m. Next to the admission ticket, also neatly taped, is a head shot photo of Mr. Adams (completely covered by the dust jacket flap), and next to the photo, also neatly taped and covered by the dust jacket flap, is a brief announcement of Mr. Adams' upcoming lecture at the Mandeville Auditorium, titled 'Personal Perspectives.' At the top right corner of front free endpaper a penned price has been covered by a short strip of clear tape. The dust jacket has a bit of edgewear, but no tears. Book shows the growth and range of his career across the decades since 1920. Little-known images are brought together with many of Admas' most famous photographs. Includes a 3-page forward by Minor White. There are 117 plates. In rear of book is a two-page chronlogy and a three-page bibliography. Unpaginated - approximately 155 pages. Securely packed in a lidded box for protection during shipment.
