Michael J Tamura, author of YOU ARE THE ANSWER: An Extraordinary Guide to Entering the Sacred Dance with Life and Fulfilling Your Soul Purpose, is internationally known for his profound wisdom as a spiritual teacher, healer and clairvoyant. For almost three decades, he has been providing spiritual guidance to thousands of men, women and children through his powerful class teachings and client sessions. Born with tremendous intuitive and spiritual healing abilities, Michael spent the first sixteen years of his life growing up in the loving arms of his family in Japan. Through a series of life experiences and hard-knock lessons, young Michael began to shut down his advanced perception abilities in an attempt to "fit in" and better communicate with others. Early completion of High School led 16-year-old Michael to the United States, where he began university studies in California. Over the next three years, Michael received both a BA degree in Graphic Design and his license as a Vocational Nurse. Through a dramatic reawakening of his healing abilities at the age of 20, Michael found his way to an extraordinary teacher, Lewis S. Bostwick and his specialized program at the Berkeley Psychic Institute. Under the founder's tutelage, Michael further developed his clairvoyant abilities and spiritual awareness, soon advancing to become the Institute's Director and Senior Teacher.

Retired from the organization in 1993, Michael has since maintained a private practice as a spiritual teacher, healer and counselor. Known as a "healer's healer" and master teacher, Michael has also led healing journeys to sacred sites and worked with the psychic surgeons of the Philippines.
