May I Answer That?

This book is a compilation from the various published works of the holy master Sri Swami Sivananda, including some of his earliest works extending as far back as the late thirties.

The questions and answers deal with some of the commonest but most vital, doubts raised by practicing spiritual aspirants. What invests these answers and explanations with great value is the authority, not only of the sage's intution, but also of his personal experience.

Swami Sivananda was a sage whose first concern, even first love, shall we say, was the spiritual seeker, the Yoga student. Sivananda lived to serve them: and this priceless volume is the outcome of that Seva Bhav (service inclination) of the great Master.

Swami Sivanananda gave up Medical practice and went to Rishikesh and was initiated into Dashnami Sannyasa in 1924 by Vishwanananda Saraswati. In 1936 he founded several Institutions, most important of these being the Divine Life Society.During his life time Swami Sivanananda guided thousands of disciples and aspirants all over the world and authored over two hundred books.

The Divine Life Society founded by him,the disciples trained by him and the books written by him continue to carry the torch of spiritual wisdom to all corners of the globe in ever-increasing measure.

One of his most famous disciples is Swami Satyanananda Saraswati, who founded the internationally famous Bihar School of Yoga, whose publications like Asana Pranyama Mudra Bandha, Kundalini Tantra and many others are all time favourites on amazon.com website.
