The Answer From Surveyor 3 (Paperback)

Paperback. Matthew Donaldson was a lonely young man searching for a better future on this day in late November, 1963. He was taking a lunch break from his tedious job shuffling textbooks and papers at a book warehouse in downtown Dallas. Over the next few minutes Matthew's presence on the sixth floor of the building places him in the middle of one of history's most tragic events. And the new movie camera he was fiddling with unintentionally captures a few feet of film that could change the world. This thrilling new historical novel combines the real story of two of the 20th century's most important events: the assassination of JFK and the Apollo Moon-landing program. They are connected in a way that goes far beyond the young president's call to land humans on the Moon and bring them back safely. The story starts with a tiny accidental event, which spawns a calculated effort to conceal potential evidence from Nov. 22, 1963, what happens when that evidence is discovered, and a thrilling cross-country race to link everything together and expose the real truth to the world. This book reimagines the history of the 1960s and early 1970s in a way that is sure to provoke new thinking about a tragic event that has been the subject of conspiracy theories for decades. The reader will also be reminded of some of the glory and challenges of America's space program as our nation was engaged in a breakneck space race with the Soviet Union. Fans of the Apollo Moon program won't be disappointed. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.…
