None of the Answers : Racing Through Life in Reverse

What if the only way to understand your life… was to live it in reverse?

In this wild, unfiltered, and darkly hilarious memoir, Jeff Swaney tears through his past, revealing the chaos, grit, and accidental wisdom that shaped him.

Told in the immersive, raw style of Gonzo journalism, None of the Answers: Racing Through Life in Reverse takes readers on a journey through a life defined by risk, reinvention, and adventure.

Born dirt-poor in Detroit, Swaney navigates a childhood of adversity before launching into decades of outrageous experiences: death-defying outdoor stunts, chaotic college detours, broke-and-reckless global travel, underground nightclubs, business triumphs, financial collapse, and a surprising rebirth as a single father at sixty.

Through every reversal, he proves that a meaningful life isn’t built from perfect choices, but from surviving the messy ones.

Inside This Memoir, You Will Discover:

• A true rags-to-riches story, from Detroit poverty to Dallas business leadership.
• Unfiltered Gonzo-style storytelling filled with humor, vulnerability, and reckless honesty.
• Adventure-driven chapters featuring wild travel, near disasters, and unforgettable characters.
• Lessons in resilience, grit, and reinvention from real-life chaos.
• A rare look at fatherhood at sixty and the transformative power of starting over.
• Dark humor and self-deprecation that make even the hardest moments unexpectedly hilarious.

More than a personal adventure story, more than a business memoir, this is a life lived full-throttle, stripped of pretense, and told with the fearless voice of someone who refuses to pretend he has all the answers.

If you love Gonzo memoirs, entrepreneur life stories, rags-to-riches journeys, or unfiltered reflections on purpose and identity, this book will stay with you long after the final chapter.

A memoir for anyone who has ever crashed, rebuilt, and kept moving, no matter how chaotic the road looked in reverse.
