Book condition: good, very scarce, May through August, inclusive a political and literary censor, the appendix contains an "ample review of foreign literature", half bound in leather and decorative paper, most of the leather on the corners is worn off, corners rubbed, spine darkened, gilt legible, front board detached but included, title page missing, heavy stains to pastedowns, ffep and first page of text, interior a bit darkened but quite legible, binding tight, 542 pages with index, 5.25 X 8.25 inches.
