Antique Trunks: Refinish, Repair, Restore-Revised and Expanded by Paul Pat Morse and Linda Edelstein is the long awaited sequel to the original trunk restoration book by the same authors. Edelstein and Morse, who have both been working on antique trunks since the 1970s, bring a unique style to this new book. Both informative and humorous, the book lays out in step by step procedures, the many difficult tasks involved in restoring an heirloom trunk. The book contains 200 pages of instructions, illustrated with over 175 new pictures and drawings. Ridding trunks of odors, applying a new finish, complicated repairs, fixing a lock, or re-quilting a fancy lid are only a few of the many aspects the book covers. The writing is aimed at the beginning hobbiest as well as the seasoned expert. Uniquel tools and techniques are some of the areas address. There is a special section on tips and tricks the authors have gleaned from their many years work in the field.
