HOWES H-482. Sabin 31828. "A very curious and very scarce volume. On pp. 71-75 are figures from Dighton Rock inscription, with Mr. Hill's interpretation. (Not in Field's Indian Bibliography.)"-Brinley Sale III,5405 (1881). Dighton Rock, Berkeley, Massachusetts, is noted for its petroglyphs of unknown origin. "[I]f his speculations fail to convince, they will at least serve to amuse.Ira Hill was one of those whose waking dreams are taken as realities."-The Colonial Society of Massachusetts Transactions 1916-1917 (1918), pp. 125-9.
