Ai, Anxiety and Authority (Paperback or Softback)

AI is changing more than work. It is changing how we hold what we know.

Across organisations today, the conversation about AI is moving fast — about tools, pilots, productivity, scale. Beneath the surface, something else is shifting.

Authority is being quietly relocated. Identity is being unsettled. Decisions are being made by, with, and through systems in ways that are absorbed before anyone has the language to name them.

AI, Anxiety and Authority is a book about that quieter shift. Drawing on twenty years of organisation development consulting and the systems psychodynamic tradition, Jasper Pandyan introduces a Three-Lens Framework — technical, human, and organisational — that helps leaders read the strain that no single view can see. He names four patterns of imbalance that recur across sectors, four anxieties that sit beneath behaviour, and four defences that show up when those anxieties are not spoken.

A book for CEO's, Senior leaders, HR teams, OD consultants, and change practitioners navigating what is still forming.

A way of looking. Not a method.

Jasper Yuvaraj Pandyan is an organisation development consultant with more than twenty years of experience helping senior leaders navigate change across pharmaceuticals, energy, government, and the social sector in Singapore, the United Kingdom, India, Korea, and Australia. He brings an unusual dual lens to his work, combining a background in computer science with deep training in systems psychodynamics - bridging the technical and human sides of organisational change. He holds an MBA from the University of Exeter and trained with the Tavistock Institute.
