About the Author

As a pioneer in integrative medicine, Dr. Milne specializes in treating people who suffer with chronic disease. He was trained at the University of Missouri-Columbia and residency at University of Texas-Southwestern School of Medicine and began his career in emergency and family medicine until he and his wife faced with a sick, colicky, infantile entero-colitis afflicted, daughter Brooke. Crying 20 hours daily for over 8 months without help, Dr. Milne turned to alternative medicine, homeopathy, which rapidly provided relief. He realized he was most interested in health care rather than acute sick care. He traveled to many parts of the world learning health promoting methods.
