Anxiety Yields to Faith: Reflections on How FAITH Helps Us Control Our Anxiety (Paperback or Softback)

Sometimes anxiety overwhelms us. If we are to deal with it successfully, it is important to develop some understanding of what it is and how it affects us. Moreover, we need to discover and experience the power to manage it.

Without discounting popular methods of managing our anxiety such as psychotherapy and pharmacological therapy the author explores what he considers to be one of the most powerful weapons, namely, faith. But this is not faith defined as institutional faith such as being a good Roman Catholic or Protestant, but faith as an experience of yielding oneself in radical trust to a power beyond ourselves whose love and strength combine to become a potent force in showing us how to be free while empowering us upon freedom's journey.

Anxiety Yields to Faith invites you to join an adventure which may turn out to be one of the most important, life-enhancing journeys you have ever taken.
