viii, 170 pages. Blue cloth with gilt titles to front and spine. No edition stated. Cloth rubbed, somewhat soiled, and splitting along rear hinge (though stable). Hinges fully secure and binding sound. Interior is very good: original yellow endpapers, clean and unmarked. Oval blind stamp to title page: "Sold At A Reduced Price By The Religious Tract Society For Behoof Of The Working Classes". Notice of the Religious Tract and Book Society of Scotland, Edinburgh, pasted in at rear: "Published at 1s., to be sold at 6d. each / NO DISCOUNT / Sold at this low price by the liberality of Christian Friends, who wish these publications to be largely circulated. / EXCLUSIVELY FOR WORKING PEOPLE.".
