Anya's Remarkable Donkey (Paperback or Softback)

The magical kingdom of Majadon is rich with gold and other gems, and things are peaceful now, thanks to the good king and queen’s vigilant army and fleet of flying dragons.

One day, a donkey arrives for nine-year-old Anya Tamarkin, a gift from the king for alerting him to danger. Her dream has come true! Now she and her friend Max can dig for treasure farther away, with a donkey along. Where will they go? What will they find?

But the donkey is far from ordinary. She wants to use her unique ways to help the king in Majadon. Will Anya see what’s remarkable about that, in time to make a difference?

“I think what makes a good story is one that has details so I can understand what’s happening. I could follow everything, and the characters were well connected. The ending was great because it took me by surprise.”
