INSPIRING TRUE STORIES OF ORDINARY GIRLS & WOMEN WHO DARED, DREAMED BIG, AND DEFIED THE ODDS.
--> The PERFECT GIFT for YOUNG GIRLS - Ages 8-13 <--
The tween years can be tricky. You're not quite a teenager, but you're also not a little kid. It's a time when you're trying to figure out who you are and what you want to be. And sometimes, that can be scary.
The great news is you’re not alone.
Anything is Possible, by Tween Success, is a collection of 20 inspiring true stories of ordinary women and girls who have faced challenges and overcome them to achieve their dreams. You'll learn about their courage, self-belief, and perseverance - and how to use those qualities to reach your goals.
Some of the women you might already know. Others you'll learn about for the first time. But they all have one thing in common: they refused to give up on their dreams.
You’ll meet:
- A girl who was told she would never walk again but went on to become an Olympic champion.
- An astronaut who was told her dream was impossible but became the first Indian-American to travel into space.
- A surfer who lost her arm in a shark attack but got back on her board a month later and became one of the best pro surfers in the world.
And many more!
You'll learn about:
- Overcoming obstacles
- Being resilient in the face of setbacks
- The power of positive thinking
- The importance of hard work
- Taking risks and overcoming failure

About the Author
Ferne Bowe is a parent, marketing professional, and author of Life Skills for Young Adults & Life Skills for Tweens. With two kids of her own, she has first-hand experience with the challenges and triumphs of raising a teen. While watching her kids growing up, she noticed the gap between the skills kids need to thrive in the real world and what they are taught in school. For example, she noted that while kids are often taught how to get good grades, they are rarely taught how to manage their finances or have difficult conversations. She is on a mission to close that gap and help kids, and young adults find their purpose, develop self-awareness and confidence, and build their skills to create a life they love. Her message is simple: Mastering life skills and taking ownership of day-to-day tasks is the key to success, no matter your goals. Adopting this principle helps tweens, teens, and young adults develop the skills they need to live a successful life.Ferne loves traveling, spending time with her family and friends, reading, and running. She also enjoys watching movies, listening to music, and singing (badly). When she's not in front of a PC, you'll usually find her outside enjoying the countryside.
