In a simple and workable format, Dr. Runels draws from his experience as physician (having coached hundreds of men in these techniques) and researcher in endocrinology to teach the reader how to not only improve sex but also improve health.
The method taught represents a synergistic mixture of techniques (Integrative Sex Transmutation) drawn from ancient texts (like the Tao of Sexology), philosophers and scientists (like Thoreau and Leonardo da VInci), as well as from modern endocrinology, nutrition, exercise physiology, herbology, and pharmacology.

Part I gives you a better understanding of what sex transmutation is and how it's been used by great men of the past. You'll hear from Benjamin Franklin, Henry David Thoreau, and others. You'll hear how these men used sex transmutation to improve health, increase intelligence, and find God. You'll hear from Dr. Freud about how Leonardo da Vinci "transmuted sex energy" into genius and inspiration.
You'll also investigate the male sexual response zones. First, the usual diagram is presented. Then, you'll see an expanded diagram that demonstrates new zones which allow you to enjoy orgasm and stimulation for hours at a time. Here's where you'll be introduced to the concept of "sex surfing" in and around the orgasmic zone.
Most men go through their youth and if they discover sex transmutation at all, it's in the latter years after much of the energy of youth has been spent. This book will help you capture that energy.
Practicing "safe sex," (not the focus of this book) like cooking an egg to prevent salmonella, simply means enjoying sex in a way that prevents the development of infectious disease. Next, you learn a basic plan for improving health that specifically increases energy and sexual function and creativity. Not a burden of in-depth science to bore you, just the necessary facts and a workable basic plan that you can use for the rest of your life.
Next, Dr. Runels covers the sex hormones and how to know if your doctor's done an adequate job of measuring yours. Next, you get a list of libido killers and a discussion of synergy and sex.

After a BS in Chemistry from Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Dr. Runels spent 3 years as research chemist in physical chemistry department of Southern Research Institute in Birmingham. He attended medical school and residency in Birmingham, Alabama and became board certified in Internal Medicine in 1993. He practiced emergency medicine for 12 years as well as working in hyperbaric medicine (chamber used to treat scuba diving injuries, carbon monoxide poisoning, and serious infections). Dr. Runels founded the Runels Center for Lifelong Health in March of 2000 where he currently practices Internal Medicine, Nutritional and Physical rehabilitation, Anti-Aging medicine, and endocrinology. He's been running since childhood; has done marathons, triathlons, fasted for days, stayed awake for days, lived with very irregular hours, and worked every day with alternating day and night shifts, meditated at retreats in the mountains, prayed, worked as nautilus instructor, swimming instructor, studied at Spain Rehab in Birmingham, ate 3 dozen raw eggs a day and 1 gallon or more of milk, lived on milk free diet, lived for 2 years as strict vegetarian, tried just about! every vitamin or supplement in the health food store, milked goats, went to medical school and didn't believe every thing they said, collected fresh ginseng from the mountains and eaten other natural "supplements" too crazy to name--- all in an effort to find out what really works--- what really makes people enjoy good health--where you feel energetic and strong.
