Anzac. A Retrospect

"Sales/posting to the USA suspended". Card covers with flaps, 165pp, some maps. Light wear to card edges; a near fine copy. The author was a private with the 1st Canterbury Battalion and served through the whole Gallipolli Campaign, including a spell in Quinn's Post when it was at its most vulnerable. A patrol scout, he was as in the forefront of other activities, including the New Zealand attack over the "Daisy Patch" at Cape Helles. The main part of this story is based on diaries and letters home, but in retrospect, the author comments on some of the controversial features of the Gallipoli Campaign.
