Apache Ambush

Lieutenant Timothy O'Hagen had fought the Apache, knew their language and customs, and respected them. He also knew when an Apache went bad, and to him Contreras was a bad Apache. Osgood Sickles, Agent-in-Charge of the San Carlos Apache Reservation disagreed. Sickles felt that O'Hagen was just trying to make trouble for him because O'Hagen's sweetheart had married him instead. Not until Sickles finds himself facing Contreras's violence does he see that O'Hagen may be right.

William Everett Cook (1921 1964), was a western writer as Will Cook and Frank Peace. He also wrote under the pseudonym James Keene with the romance writer Ida Cook and as Wade Everett with the western and erotic writer Giles A. Lutz. Some of Will Cook's novels have been adapted to films.

William Dufris has been nominated nine times as a finalist for the APA's prestigious Audie Award and has garnered twenty-one Earphones Awards from AudioFile magazine, which also named him one of the Best Voices at the End of the Century. He has also acted on stage and television in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
