Apart from the Text

Apart from the Text is the presentation volume, 1995/6, for members of the Private Libraries Association. An international society of book collectors, founded in 1956, its series of monographs on specialised aspects of the mania have been much appreciated by collectors at large.

Anthony Rota has been an antiquarian bookseller for more than 45 years, the last 30 of them as head of Bertram Rota Ltd. the firm founded by his father, Bertram Rota, in 1923. He has taught at the Rare Book School at Columbia University, and at the ABA Diploma Course, University College, London.
