This book is certainly a milestone in aphidology. Its extensive bibliographies provide entry into the literature, and it will be the major general reference work for both novices and those already immersed in the group. -- The Quarterly Review of Biology
This book will be the standard book on the biology (in the widest sense) of aphids for many years, and I suspect it will be just as valuable to those interested in natural enemies and control as to those primarily interested in aphids for their own sake ...
