Fine condition. One struck aluminum medallion commemorating the Apollo 8 mission. The obverse has profiles of the crew. Below the profiles reads, "Apollo 8". The inscription on the outer ring reads, "BORMAN LOVELL ANDERS DECEMBER 21-27, 1968". The outer ring on the reverse reads, "FIRST LUNAR APOLLO FLIGHT". The inscription in the center reads, "IN APPRECIATION FOR YOUR CONRIBUTION TO THE APOLLO SATURN PROJECT. THE APOLLO 8 CREW CARRIED METAL IN THIS MEDALLION ON MAN'S FIRST FLIGHT TO THE MOON.".
