The Apostasy of the Christian Church

Christendom is in a seemingly hopeless state of division today and every denomination or sect has an "explanation" why their group is the "true" or "correct" church. Philosophical scholars have debated their "true church" views for centuries. They all have provided logic and philosophical opinions, but nowhere has there been an attempt to objectively deal with this subject. This book, "The Apostasy Of The Christian Church" attempts to provide that objective view. Its purpose is to review the facts of this Great Divide (of denominations and sects) and to explain how it occurred and WHY it continues to exist today. It will reveal how many of the so-called "heroes" of the ancient church were actually enemies of the church. They stirred and deepened the corruption of the "Christendom of Western Culture." Fully documented and Biblically sound, this book will be loved by those who have a hunger to "Rightly Divide the Word of Truth." Those who are wedded to their particular traditional Church view of things, and the religion of Christendom will just as fervently despise it. The book will also show how many of these bitter divisions between "Christians" can be eliminated and move all Christians closer to the true Lordship of Christ as members of His unique "Body."

R. Dawson Barlow, a member of the 'baby boomer" generation and former Catholic has becames a permanant member of the Body of Christ. Barlow is originally from North Carolina is the father of adult twin daughters. He is currently working tirelessly for the Lord as a missionary in Central China while working on a sequel to The Apostasy of the Christian Church.
