About this title

Synopsis

Discover the heart of gospel preaching in a historic sermon on the divine purpose of the ministry.

This work examines what makes preaching powerful, why the cross is central, and how pastors are called to a sacred, world-changing mission.

In these pages, the author argues that true preaching focuses first on salvation through Christ, not worldly aims. It contrasts the world’s view of preaching with the gospel’s power to transform hearts, and it defends the preacher’s sacred calling as a divine appointment.

Understand why redemption by the cross is presented as the core message for salvation.
Explore the distinction between spiritual aims and worldly uses of preaching.
See a call for ministers to guard the fullness of the gospel against dilution.
Reflect on the enduring mission of the church and the eternal scope of the preacher’s work.

Ideal for readers who want a clear, faith-centered perspective on the role of preaching and the supremacy of the gospel in ministry.
