About the Author

Arnie Nettekoven served the Appleton Police Department as an officer from 1960 to 1990. In those thirty years, he rose in ranks from a traffic officer to a detective sergeant. Since his retirement, he has dedicated his life to compiling the history of his beloved Appleton Police Department.
