AI Applications in Food Processing and Packaging

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a branch of computer science which uses data to create models. These models learn from data and are used to make predictions. AI tools are being developed to deal with the complexity and variety of data in the food industry. This edited volume highlights the ways in which AI can be applied to optimization and automation in quality control, processing and packaging of food products.
