Prof. M. M. Sufyan Beg holds a B.Tech. from Aligarh Muslim University, M.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur), India and a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), India. Currently he is a Professor at the Department of ComputerEngineering, Aligarh Muslim University, India. He has also visited the University of California at Berkeley as a BT Fellow. Prof. Beg has published 16 book chapters and over 115 papers. He has served as a reviewer and on the editorial board of many prominent journals. His current research interests are in the areas of Soft Computing, Question Answering Systems, Web Mining and Searching.
