Tim Prenzler is Professor of Criminology in the School of Law and Society at the University of the Sunshine Coast. He joined UniSC in 2015 as the inaugural Program Coordinator of the Bachelor of Criminology and Justice, after previously serving at Griffith University, where he was a foundation member of the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice and later Head of School. His research focuses on crime and corruption prevention, police and security regulation, restorative justice, and ethical accountability in criminal justice. He has published extensively in criminology and criminal justice and has authored and edited numerous books on crime prevention, policing, corruption prevention, and justice systems.
