About the Author

BRIAN DORLING is Advisory Specialist for Communications Architectures at the IBM International Technical Support Organization Systems Management and Networking Center in Raleigh, NC. He co-authored Internetworking Over ATM (Prentice Hall PTR).

PETER LENHARD is an Advisory Systems Engineer in NS Marketing, IBM Germany. After joining IBM in 1973, he gained broad experience in SNA and telecommunications supporting IBM's automotive industry customers. From 1991 through 1995, he was IBM's technical liaison in support of communications architectures at the ITSO Raleigh Center.

PETER LENNON, is a Network Consultant and Team Leader responsible for APPN projects in IBM Software Services, IBM South Africa. In 17 years as an SNA specialist, he served as systems engineer, performance expert, writer, instructor, developer and product manager.

VELIBOR USKOKOVIC is an Advisory I.T. Specialist responsible for technical support in the IBM Networking Division of IBM South Africa. He previously worked for seven years in Montenegro, Yugoslavia as a Data Communications Systems Engineer.
