Contributions from international academics discuss issues related to teaching the works of D.H. Lawrence at the undergraduate level. In the first section, the editors survey materials such as editions, anthologies, biographies, and audiovisual aids. This is followed by 33 essays on such topics as "Odour of Chrysanthemums" and the freshman essay, the construction of Englishness in "England, My England," teaching Lady Chatterly's Lover , and psychoanalytic approaches to otherness.
