This 1880 edition is bound in black cloth with heavily browned and worn paste ons. Covers show some heavy fading as well as scratching, scuffing, flaking and shelf wear. Edges show some moderate rubbing, scuffing and shelf wear and hinges of spine show some light tearing near edges, though are still firmly attached. Pages are browned from age and red page edges show some heavy fading and rubbing. Some faint notes in pencil on back cover page. Inside of front cover has a paste in with the name of the agent that sold the book.
