This book is based on the study of an aquatic ecosystem model through ecological goal functions: exergy and ascendency. The concepts of these goal functions have been explained from the basics. About the Author

Dr. Sandip Mandal has obtained his Ph.D. degree from Visva-BharatiUniversity, India in 2009. Although his academic background is in Physics, he focuses his work in interdisciplinary area. Along with mathematical ecology, his current research interest lies in the field of infectious disease modeling and also in various areas of nonlinear dynamics.
